Merry Christmas Eve!!

Today is Christmas Eve and I still have so much to do but I am not feeling well today at all. I woke up yesterday with a Soar Throat and it's just gotten worse. At least it waited until we were on our way home from the BEST Christmas Cabin Trip EVER!!! We had so much fun with the kids and with our family. Rob's Family is so sweet and all the kids are adorable and so well behaved. We are so happy that everyone made the long trip down South.
We did not have time to see the new baby in our family on the way up and on the way back I was sick and sure did not want to go near the baby if I was sick. But we hope to see him really soon!!
I have tons of pictures to post, and I promise to do that soon, so stay tuned!!

Busy Busy Busy

Today we are getting ready to head North, if we get everything done, we will first stop and visit the New Baby in our Family, little Blake Anthony. Then we'll head up to my Sisters and spend the night so we'll be half way to our Cabin Christmas with the Kids and our Family from Illinois. I am soooo excited to be able to spend some quality time with some of Rob's family since we never get the chance and we are so happy the kids will get time to bond with them as well.
I have lots of errands to run today but its pouring rain outside and there's a Tornado Watch. So I think will get the house clean, finish the laundry, packing and finish wrapping, then run my errands after the rain stops!! Also still waiting for UPS to deliver a package, pray that it shows up before we leave today!!!

Baby Boy On The Way......

Our Cousin Tiffany is in Labor!!! We got the call late tonight at 10:45pm. Baby Blake Anthony should be born very soon. We are Wishing Tiffany and Baby a Safe & Easy Delivery!!

Xmas Tree Oh Xmas Tree....

Well the tree is up...... and for the first time since I think I was in my early 20's we got a real tree!!! And I have to say, next year it'll be a fake tree again.
This tree smelled good in my Highlander when we brought it home but once we got it home, we couldn't smell a thing, so much for the pine smell because there isnt' one. We did however get sap all over our hands and pine needles every where!!! So as soon as Xmas is over I will be in line for the after holiday sales and buy a discounted fake tree for next year.
The tree is small and cute plus we only paid $20, gotta love Walmart. This year I did not drag out my usual ornmaments that I've had since forever, instead I used new ornaments that I bought last year after xmas on clearance. They are kind of funky but fun. I never do a theme tree, thats my Sisters style and my Mom used to do the best theme trees!!! I am missing my Mom like crazy this time of year. Especially when I'm Christmas shopping. Mom was always a little cranky this time of year but she loved Christmas and all the decorating much more than I do. So this year I am trying to be more in the spirit for her.

My Mom collected the Department 56 Village for years and has a huge collection that my Sister now has. I picked out two of my favorite pieces (The Candy Stores) and my Mom's BFF Debbie made this for me.
