Catching up from the Weekend

Before we got sick, we had an early Birthday Celebration for Jen & Frank's (my cousins) oldest son Frankie on Sunday at the park. He's turning 10 (how is that possible!?!?!).
His birthday isn't for a couple of weeks but they will be out of town on his birthday so they had a joint picnic birthday celebration with Frankie's best friend Joey.
Here's a few pictures from the party, very few as the kids were all over the place in the park.

Joey is in Orange and Frankie is in the Blue shirt
They look like they are scheming something up....
This is our Handsome Frankie Boy
Look at Joey's Face!! He put his face right in the cake...
Here's Big NICK.....with that LOOK we all know and love.

Cool Picture Frame

Finally we are starting to feel better, I know Rob is because he got off work early today and went home and cleaned the house and did laundry. Is he GREAT or what!!!! Or it could just be that he hasn't been able to drink beer for the past few days....hmmmm.

My Sister Gina and her husband Chad gave us a cool picture frame for our Wedding and I just finally got around to putting it together. We love it!!! Thanks Gina & Chad, it looks great with the new wall color too. Check it out.......

It's Robs turn, now he is sick too. Poor Guy, I feel so bad for him, I knew he'd catch it, but he said no. It started last night for him about 11:00 pm, same as me, wonder why it's always in the middle of the night, so that your up all night, I don't get it.

I managed to come to work today, but I'm not staying all day as I am still very tired and I don't want to leave Rob home all day alone feeling so sick.

This has just been an awful week. I swear I need to sterilize the house now, if only I had a maid, as I do not have the energy just yet. I hope he doesn't give it back to me I could not go through that again and live to tell about it, I swear. My Mom is starting to feel better also.

I have been so sick for the past couple of days with the stomach flu. OMG!!! I can't even tell you how horrible it is and how horrible I feel. I am NOT a good sick person.
I've missed worked for two days so far and hoping to try and get there tomorrow but at this point, I'm not sure I still feel really week and nauseous. I am finally able to keep things down, thank the Lord!!
I swear this feels like food poisoning and a bad hangover mixed together. And the crazy thing is on Monday when I felt like I was dying, I called my Mom to come over and stay with me so Rob could go to work, and she has the same thing!! We were together over the weekend so we must have caught it together. Poor Mom!! Rob came home early to take care of me, although there isn't much anyone could do, but just having someone with you makes it better.
I will post more when I'm feeling better...hopefully that will be soon!!

Today is Favorite Photo Friday!!!
I have so many pictures that I love, but this one is so special of our beautiful daughter Megan. She is a Daddy's girl and Rob took this of her with his old camera when she really wasn't into being photographed at the moment. But I think it captures her innocent beauty.

Dancing With the Stars Live Tour

Last night, my friend Michelle and I went to see Dancing with the Stars Live Show and it was GREAT!!
I was a little disappointed because there weren’t that many Stars there. I was expecting to see Marie Osmond, but she wasn’t at this one. The Stars that were there were: Drew Lachey (love him), Joey Lawrence (he’s pretty hot to), Helio Castroneves (the race car driver) and Wayne Newton.
Wayne did not dance (thank goodness!!!) He did sing and did an amazing job. I took lots of pictures and video except most of my pictures are blurry and I can’t get the video to play on my computer…ugh. It was a fun night and I can’t wait for the new season to start!! Attached are a few pictures that I took that didn’t come out to blurry.

Dave's Birthday Party

Saturday night Rob & I went to Howl at the Moon to help celebrate a friends birthday. (Dave Vozzola). Happy Birthday Dave!! Thanks for inviting us, we had a blast.
It was nice to get out; we haven’t been out in awhile. It was great to see some old friends and meet some new ones. This is a bit of a wild crowd. So be ready for a few crazy pictures.
If you haven’t been to Howl at the Moon, let me tell you a little bit about it. It’s a dueling piano bar, which means two guys are on stage each at a piano singing and taking requests doing crazy funny skits to get the crowd all loud and rowdy, they do sing a-longs (but they are usually R rated) It’s always a wild fun time at Howl at the Moon.
By the time we left it was after 1:00 am, my ears were ringing from the loud music, my throat was hurting from screaming and I could barely see because my contacts were foggy from all the smoke in the place (one of the few bars you can still smoke in, unfortunately). When we left the crowd was still going strong. Wonder what time everyone else finally got home?????
I was fine to drive, only had two drinks then started on water, so I was good but Rob on the other hand was feeling pretty good and when he has to much to drink, he ALWAYS wants to eat something on the way home and usually it’s hash browns, but at 1:30 a.m. the best I could do was drive through McDonalds and get him a Filet of Fish, then it’s starts raining and he starts complaing that he has to go to the bathroom really bad and keeps telling me to pull over, but at this point we are only a few minutes from home and he says he just can’t make it..WHATEVER, I’m not stopping in the rain. Well I had to stop at a stop sign as we pull into our complex and he starts to open the door before I even stop the car and I go around the corner and then I pull into a parking lot and he gets out (in the pouring rain) runs behind the back of the car into the middle of the road and bends over to look at something as far as I could tell and I am thinking what is he doing, peeing in the middle of the road!?!? He runs back jumps in the car. I said what are you doing, he said his wallet fell out when he opened the door when we went around the corner…WHAT!! Then a security guard pulls up behind us with his lights on and Rob yelling go go, (like were highschool kids running from the cops or something) so by this time, Rob still has to go to the bathroom and now I do too. We pull into the parking lot of our condo and park and now it’s pouring really hard. We get out and I can’t run because the shoes I’m wearing are slick and I’m afraid I’ll fall, so I’m barely walking and getting soaked and its freezing!!! And I’m carrying my purse, my camera and Rob’s stupid Fish Sandwich bag. I look at Rob and he ran up to the building and turns around to see me and he’s peeing!! Good thing it was 1:30 am and no one was around...MEN I swear.
I’m soaked and freezing and he’s just grinning at me like a Cheshire cat!!! And recently they removed our walkway canopy so I’m getting soaked by freezing rain the entire time until I finally get to the elevator, trying not to slip and fall. It was a fun night…just ended a little soggy..LOL

In Blog land a lot of people post a picture on Friday and its called Favorite Foto Friday!! So I was looking through all the pictures on my computer and found this adorable picture of my cousin Tracy’s gorgeous daughter Ashlyn…..It’s one of my favorites, and wanted to share it with you. This is when they came down for our Wedding.

Isn’t she the cutest thing and she has the sweetest personality. She lives in South Carolina.

We miss you Sweet Ashlyn!!

I don’t know about you guys but I am excited it’s Friday, it has been a busy and long week for me. I am looking forward to sleeping in tomorrow morning, oh wait, that never happens anymore because Rob doesn’t sleep in and of course that means no sleeping in for me either, but I can always go back to bed after he leaves for work….hee hee

Saturday night we’ll be going to Howl at the Moon on Ft. Lauderdale Beach to celebrate a friend’s birthday (Dave Vozzola). It should be a fun time, it’s not often we get to see a lot of our old friends anymore; we missed their Christmas Party because we had all the kiddies with us. So we are looking forward to seeing everyone.

Then on Sunday Rob is going to see Marilyn Mansion, can you believe that, I shouldn’t even be telling people. You couldn’t pay me enough to sit through that, but it’s Rob’s kind of music. Good thing he has friends with similar taste in music, I’ve already attended one rock concert with him and that was enough, I went to see Slipknot and let me tell you it was a FREAK show to say the least. He owes me big for that….LOL
I am going to see Dancing with the Stars live tour next week and I can’t wait!!! Of course Rob isn’t going. Not his thing.

Have a SUPER FUN and Safe Weekend Everyone!!!

Gallant Lady Trip

Our Gallant Lady trip was wonderful as always, although it started out a little shaky as we met the dealers at the Hilton so we can all go down to Bahia Mar together on a shuttle bus but the bus had a little problem, the door would not stay shut and it was apparently a hydraulic air lock (or something) and the air lock wasn’t working. So Rob, and some others ended up holding the door shut as we were driving down I-95, then finally the air pressure built up again and the door stayed shut, and we got to the boat just in time.
Below are a few pictures, I didn’t really take any of the inside of the boat because they give everyone a really nice book when you get off that has pictures of the entire ship. The other photos I took were of the dealers receiving their plaques; that we’ll send to them directly. It was a perfect way to spend the afternoon.

This the Back of the ship. It was too big to take from the side

This is Rob and Hameed from Kendall Toyota holding the door shut on the bus

This is Rob driving the boat... (NOT) he wishes
This was a sailing shool, there must have been over 100 little boats out there

This is the front of the boat

Here's a group photo, although there were more of us but some of the wives were taking photos, so this is not the entire group. This was as we were leaving the ship.
The shortest, widest person there on the left in red & black...that's me..ugh
