Army Graduation

My Special Nephew Matthew, who we call Beau graduated from Army Boot Camp this past weekend and I was lucky enough to be able to attend his graduation. We are all so proud of him. He really loves it and I can see the difference in him. It was very interesting looking at life on an Army base. We even went to the PX on base...it was cool.
Here are the pictures from our visit with Beau. We got to spend two days with him before he was shipped off to start his training for the next 10 months, first in Alabama for 10 weeks then to Pensacola for the rest of his training.
This was his first time he was able to leave the Base since he started Basic Training, so he was so excited. He wanted to eat real food, put on civilian clothes (had to buy some new ones because he's lost so much weight) and  buy a new cell phone and get on his laptop!!

Spring Break 2010 Wrap Up

Spring Break is over....boo hoo hoo. We are so sad but we had so much fun this week. Here comes a recap of the rest of our Spring Break Adventures......

We all went to see the "Diary of a Whimpy Kid" Movie, it was adorable. The kids read the books, so they really enjoyed it.

Then Rob took the kids Fishing in the Everglades... Rob caught a few Bass, Megan worked on her tan and Nate drove the boat....Check it out.
Time to Fish....

Its a bit Windy
Good Fish
Better Fish
Best Fish
Cruising along
Captain Nate
Super Star thats what you are!!
Lil Mama giving directions

It was fun day!!

The next day it was to rainy for boating so it was off to Bass Pro Shops
Megan's catch of the day.....
Taking a brake at Bass Pro in the Guy Harvey Section
They Love Guy Harvey Stuff!!

Everything was going good until the kids
got Eaten by a Shark!!
Lucky for us....he spit them out.

Then before we knew it...the week was over
so we decided to spend our last day & night of Spring Break
in Orlando.......
What do you do when your trying to pack and keep the kids out
of your way....give them a Windex Bottle and tell them
to get busy on the windows...LOL

We arrived in Orlando in the afternoon...and when we
checked into the hotel to our Surprise we got a free upgrade to a Family Suite!!
Pays to be a Marriott Rewards Member!!
The kids loved having their own space

There was even a hallway window....too cute

Then we spent the day at the Disney Market Place
First Stop..the Toy Store
Everyone LOVEs Mr. Potato Head..

Then a Stop at The Harley Shop

Then we saw this cool ride, its like a hot air balloon
None of us wanted to go up, except for Rob
Ummm no thanks....I'll stay on the ground please

Then we found this cool place.......
called RideMakerz
You've heard of Build-A-Bear..this was Build-A-Bear for Cars
Of Course they had a TOYOTA Camry Race car there!!

You pick out your car....then you build it
Nate got a Blue car and Megan wanted a Pink One.
You get your car, then you pick out all the accessories:
The tires, rims, the grill, side bars and graffics, they had tons of stuff.
You can easily turn a $10 car into a $100 car....so you have to be careful

First you build it..put on the chassis, tires and rims at
the Build Shop

Nathans car ....so far...his rims are reversible
Megans car so far...you can't tell but the tires have skulls on them

Now its on to the Trim Shop....

The Finished Cars......
Megans has a surf board rack and Nate's has some cool side mufflers
Super Cool Cars
Then we took a boat ride...check out the boxes
the cars come in...
.
Me and my Sweetie Pies
Rob and the kiddies

Megan and I made a stop at the Little Miss Match Store
Here she is showing off her miss matched socks...
She loved them and wore them all over the hotel even to breakfast

Then it was time for some swimming
Fun in the Pool

If you look closely you can see Rob's head towards
the back right, he's in the hot tub....

I was pooped after walking all day....just relaxing
Megan ready for bed...still wearing her Miss Matched Socks
Rob first thing in the morning....he brought me coffee
just like he does every morning!!!!!!
Getting Sad...because we have to take the kids back.
We had a really FUN week and we can't wait for the Summer!!
XOXOXO
